Newcomers and immigrants are always bombarded with career advice when they arrive to Canada, and the reality is, much of it is conflicting.
Today’s episode is all about how to chart the path to career success.
Patrick Egbunonu is the Associate Dean of the School of Business, at St Lawrence College (SLC), Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Patrick is an artificial intelligence and data analytics consultant, applied researcher and teacher!
Patrick has a Master’s degree in Chemical engineering, and a Master of Arts Degree in Economics both from Queen’s University. He also has two Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Queen’s University and Cornell University. Prior to his current role, Patrick was Professor and Program Coordinator of Business Analytics at St Lawrence College. He started the Business Analytics program at the College and taught several courses in the program including Business Intelligence, Data Mining, Strategic Analytics, and Operational Analytics. He serves as the main host of the very successful annual Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Conference at St Lawrence College.
Patrick co-founded a renewable energy company in 2007 and until recently was President and Chief Analytics Officer of EBCHIM Strategy and Innovation Research, an analytics consulting company he stated in 2013, with focus on helping small businesses design and implement a Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence strategy that helps them achieve their business goals.
