There’s no right or wrong way to create the life you want, but there is your way!
The challenge is that it requires you to pause and listen to your own intuition and soul guidance – and what that looks like is different for everyone.
This week’s episode is all about how immigrants can forge their career paths. I discussed extensively with Sharon how she landed a job in journalism despite the challenges she faced, the role of allyship for career success, and much more.
Born and raised in China. Graduated from one of the top Journalism Schools in the country and worked at a provincial television station as a reporter and host.
She went to the UK for her Master’s degree in Media Production and Distribution in 2003.
She landed in Toronto in 2005 as a new immigrant. She started a part-time job at a Chinese radio station, then OMNI TV, then full-time at Fairchild TV as a Mandarin program co-host.
In 2006, he received a 5-month contract as a news editor at CBC. Then became permanent full-time as an associate producer, then producer.
She just currently works as Manager, Media Representation at Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
This is one episode you should not miss and share with everyone you love.
