When building a business, capital is necessary, and sometimes difficult to come by. But in today’s economy, it is possible to build a successful business on a shoestring budget.
Today’s episode is all about how Calum built his company from $4000 in savings and hit $4 million in annual revenue within 10-years. We discussed extensively how he went from a shoestring budget to a marketing marvel.
Calum was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland. He moved to Toronto, Canada in 2006. He started Fervent Events, a marketing agency in 2009 and listed twice on the prestigious Growth 500 – Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies.
In July 2020, Calum sold Fervent Events to Influence Marketing, and is now in the planning stages for his next business (Shape & Foster), which will launch in January 2021.
I invited Calum here to share his story of how he built a very profitable business as an immigrant. This is one episode you should not miss and share with everyone you love.
