The responsibilities are ordering and maintaining a sufficient inventory of raw materials, packaging, health & safety, office, and cleaning supplies. Source maintenance supplies and place orders in Oracle. Order IT supplies as per requisitions from the IT department in Oracle. Order marketing material as requested by the marketing department. Negotiate pricing, and keep pricing and part information updated in WTS. Create new parts as required in WTS. Arrange transfer of material from all three plants with shipping Track/transfer raw material moved between plants. Count inventory and enter cycle counts. Make arrangements for the return of empty PVC racks, and cardboard skids, with suppliers. Arrange the return of defective merchandise. Make arrangements to have the glass bin emptied for credit. Work with A/P on invoice pricing/quantity issues. Advise material handlers what and how many of each profile need to be reworked (ie.. - add i-cap to profiles) and adjust WTS accordingly. Maintain painted lineal inventory. Work with the paint shop to ensure material is available as required for production and make arrangements to ship white material to the paint shop and painted material back from the paint shop and adjust inventory accordingly. Make arrangements to ship white material for the painting of materials and make arrangements to ship material to KP Windows once the material is ready. Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets. Attend daily supervisors’ meetings. Other duties as required.
