About Candidate
Mate Opeyemi (“Ope”) is a can-do and goal-getter, an experienced graduate of accounting and a professional accountant with over 16 years of practice as Banker, Auditor, Tax Consultant, Finance and Business Manager.
Ope, a Chartered Accountant and member of the FInancial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRC) started his career with Access Bank Plc (2008-2010) then he became an External Auditor with KOC-Chartered Accountant as Audit Manager till the year 2012.
He took up further Managerial roles as the Head of Financial Transaction Processing in the Credit Direct Limited (CDL) a member of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Group (2012-2014) before becoming the Financial Controller of the Chase MFB Limited, a member of the Swift-Oil Group. (2014-2016)
Ope became the Chief Financial Officers (CFO) of CSAdvance Finance Company Limited a member of the CardinalStone Partners Group (2016-2020) and CitiTrust Financial Services (2020-2021). Then, Ope worked as the Head of Finance (HOF) of Renmoney Microfinance Bank Limited a member of the Renmoney Africa Finance Limited in Bermuda. (2021-2023)
Currently, Ope works as the Finance manager of the Maplerad Limited (2023- Date)
