• Provided transaction advisory, project finance and risk management consultancy to 15 wind and solar power projects that achieved COD between 2018 and 2019. • Part of the team that developed the specialized project financing offered by State Bank of Pakistan to provide financing to green energy projects on concessional basis. • Led the investment due diligence team that provided recommendations on financing options and built the financial model to create the debt maturity profile of the energy sector of Pakistan (USD 3 billion annual debt repayments/year) • Collaborated with Multilateral Institutions (IFC, CDB, ADB) and local banks to design financial products to finance short and long-term financing needs of P3 infrastructure projects. • Appointed as focal person from SBP to coordinate and build long term relationships among the foreign financial institutions, local financial institutions, projects, and government institutions that resulted in 50% reduction in turnaround time • Attended a training conducted by International Monetary Fund in Managing Capital Flows: Macroeconomic Analysis and Policies and used it to create the new reporting mechanism to accurately reflect the capital account transactions in Balance of Payments. • Part of the team that negotiated with multilateral institutions i.e., International Finance Corporation, Asian Development Bank and China Development Bank that led to introduction of new financial products in infrastructure financing through commercial banks (additional USD 3 billion financing).

• Conducted industry research and wrote foreign currency debt policy that is currently part of official regulations of Pakistan. • Conducted due diligence on the investment proposals and prepared presentations and reports for senior management. • Part of the team that negotiated with commercial banks to introduce the new foreign currency loan products for importers and exporter to facilitate foreign exchange transactions (New lending of USD 500 million). • Performed due diligence and financial statements analysis of private equity proposals to invest in Pakistan to mitigate the default risk. • Performed credit analysis and regulatory assessment of Credit proposals ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines. • Outperformed for four consecutive years in my department for issuing regulatory exemptions, waivers, and clarifications to local and international financial institutions. • Monitored compliance of debt agreement and related covenants and granted permission to issue new debt.
